Ms. Nerissa Robert brings to Anova expertise in raising capital in private markets, managing the expansion of high-growth technology start-ups worldwide and driving financially sustainable businesses.

Prior to Anova, Ms. Robert served as director of finance and administration for Covergence, an industry leader in session border control solutions for the enterprise convergence market. She was instrumental in executing the sale of the company to Acme Packet yielding a 6X return for investors.

Ms. Robert joined Covergence from Alcatel-Lucent where she led the $50M+ financial operations of both Lucent’s VoIP convergence fixed and mobile voice over packet and special customer operations businesses. Previously, Ms. Robert was a senior controller at Telica, an industry pioneer in mobile and fixed core switching equipment, where she served as the financial lead for the company’s $330M acquisition by Lucent Technologies.

Ms. Robert has held senior management positions at some of the industry’s most influential start-ups including Prominet Corporation (acquired by Lucent Technologies) and Blackwave (acquired by Juniper). She began her career directing the accounting department at RADLock (acquired by ESP Lock).

Ms. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and earned a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance/Economics from Assumption College.
